NAD+
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a powerful coenzyme found in every cell of your body. It plays a critical role in energy production, cellular repair, and overall well-being. As we age, our NAD+ levels naturally decline, leading to fatigue, brain fog, and slower recovery.
The good news? We can help you replenish your NAD+ levels with a fast, effective, and non-invasive IV therapy.
-
Increased Energy Levels: Boosts cellular energy production, helping you feel more awake and alert.
Enhanced Mental Clarity: Improves focus, concentration, and cognitive function.
Anti-Aging Effects: Supports cellular repair and regeneration, slowing down the aging process.
Better Mood and Emotional Balance: Helps regulate neurotransmitters, improving mood and reducing anxiety.
Improved Physical Recovery: Speeds up recovery from workouts, illness, or injuries.
Boosted Metabolism: Aids in better fat burning and overall metabolic function.
Detoxification Support: Helps the body detoxify by flushing out harmful substances and improving liver function.
Stronger Immune System: Enhances immune function, helping to prevent illness and support recovery.
Reduced Inflammation: Promotes healing and reduces inflammation, which can help with chronic conditions.
Improved Sleep Quality: Helps regulate circadian rhythms and enhances restorative sleep.
-
Start with 250 mg NAD+
If tolerated, increase to 500 mg for next infusions
IV: weeks 1, 2 and 4, then reassess.
If energy levels improve, continue monthly.
Initial Infusions: A typical first NAD+ infusion lasts anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on the dose and tolerance.
Subsequent Sessions: Once you are accustomed to the therapy, the duration of the sessions may be reduced to around 1.5 to 2 hours.
You may choose to add a Myer’s infusion with your NAD+ infusion. When combined with NAD+ infusion, the goal is to provide a comprehensive boost to energy, recovery, and overall cellular health. Both infusions work synergistically, supporting metabolism, energy production, and neuroprotection.

IV therapy involves the administration of fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line. This method allows for rapid absorption of nutrients, bypassing the digestive system, which can take longer to process supplements.
Skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) carefully insert the IV catheter, monitor the infusion process, and ensure the patient’s comfort and safety. This professional oversight is crucial for achieving optimal results and addressing any potential concerns during the treatment.
This particular NAD+ treatment approximately takes 60-120 minutes allowing for relaxation and rejuvenation in the comfort of our lounge. You may speed the drip up as tolerated.
-
Most clients experience minimal to no side effects, especially when administered by trained professionals in a controlled environment like Waves. With NAD+ specifically, there can be mild to moderate side effects, such as nausea, fatigue, headaches, headache or chest tightness, diarrhea, stomach discomfort and indigestion.
*You may choose to add on Zofran to prevent nausea, Pepcid to help with indigestion or Toradol to help with headache.
Fluids
Normal Saline is a sterile solution of 0.9% blend of sodium chloride used to rehydrate and replace fluids. It matches the body's fluid levels and is often used in IV hydration therapies to help with hydration.
This drip includes 500 mL (half bag) of normal saline with an option to upgrade to 1,000 mL’s (full bag).
Co-Enzyme
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)
What is NAD+?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a vital molecule found in every cell of the body. It plays a crucial role in energy production, DNA repair, and regulating cellular processes that are essential for healthy aging. As we age, NAD+ levels naturally decline, which can negatively affect our metabolism, energy levels, and overall health.
Key Functions of NAD+:
Energy Production: NAD+ is involved in converting food into energy, helping fuel cellular processes.
DNA Repair: NAD+ supports the repair of damaged DNA, helping prevent mutations that lead to disease.
Cellular Maintenance: Helps in maintaining the integrity of cells and regulates cell death.
Why NAD+ Matters:
NAD+ is essential for many cellular processes, including the regulation of circadian rhythms, metabolism, and the body’s stress response. Its decline can result in fatigue, poor mental clarity, and the acceleration of aging.
The Benefits of NAD+ Supplementation
As we age, our natural NAD+ levels begin to decrease. This depletion contributes to the visible signs of aging, fatigue, and cellular dysfunction. Fortunately, NAD+ supplementation has become a popular solution for many people looking to restore their vitality and improve overall well-being.
Key Benefits of NAD+ Supplementation:
Enhanced Energy Levels: NAD+ is essential for mitochondrial function, which is the powerhouse of cells, leading to improved energy production.
Improved Brain Function: Supports cognitive function and may improve mental clarity and focus.
Cellular Repair: Helps repair damaged cells, reducing the risk of diseases related to aging.
Anti-Aging: By supporting the body’s natural repair mechanisms, NAD+ slows down the visible effects of aging, improving skin health and vitality.
Improved Metabolism: Helps regulate the body’s metabolism, promoting fat burning and weight management.
How to Boost Your NAD+ Levels
There are several ways to increase your NAD+ levels naturally and through supplementation. Here are a few methods that can help:
1. NAD+ IV Therapy
A direct way to increase NAD+ levels in the bloodstream, often used for rapid rejuvenation and energy boosts. It is administered by professionals in a clinical setting.
SubQ/IM Injections
2. NAD+ Supplements
Oral supplements containing NAD+ precursors, such as Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) and Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN), can help boost your body’s NAD+ levels.
Benefits of Supplements: A more convenient option compared to IV therapy, with a steady effect over time.
3. Exercise
Regular physical activity can naturally increase NAD+ levels by stimulating enzymes that support NAD+ production.
4. Intermittent Fasting
Fasting triggers a process called autophagy, which helps regenerate cells and boost NAD+ levels.
5. Healthy Diet
Foods like leafy greens, fish, and whole grains contain nutrients that help increase NAD+ production in the body. Consider adding foods rich in vitamin B3 (niacin) to your diet.
Who Can Benefit from NAD+?
NAD+ supplementation can be beneficial for various groups of people:
Aging Adults: Those who want to reduce the effects of aging, improve energy levels, and enhance longevity.
Athletes: People looking to boost performance and reduce recovery times.
Busy Professionals: Individuals who suffer from fatigue or mental fog and want to increase cognitive function and energy.
Those with Chronic Conditions: NAD+ therapy may help individuals suffering from conditions like neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, and chronic fatigue.
Risks and Side Effects
NAD+ supplementation and therapy are generally considered safe, but it’s important to be aware of any potential side effects:
Mild Side Effects: Some individuals may experience mild symptoms like headaches, nausea, or digestive discomfort when starting NAD+ therapy or supplements.
